Rahoul: We weren’t there that day (I remember the exact moment when my dad told me what had happened) and I can’t imagine what it must have been like to have lost someone, or even just witnessed it.
Forest and Liverpool fans haven’t always had the best relationship but I just wanted to express my relief that the truth finally appears to be emerging and my anger at the scale of the cover-up.
Lost that Loving Feeling has some personal accounts from a Forest perspective.
Rish: I couldn’t put it any better than this status update from a friend of mine on Facebook:
Don’t buy the sun. Don’t let Kelvin MacKenzie on my TV again. Don’t vote for Boris Johnson. Don’t ever do one of your bloody sneering jokes about scousers being victims.
(Incidentally, one of his friends then wrote as a comment: “I’d quite like Kelvin Mackenzie to be on Question Time one last time this week.” I agree.)
Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.

I’l never forget that day in April, me & my dad sat down to watch the match on the bbc, me a forest fan my dad Lfc fan. Watching it unfold on the tv, i never saw liverpool fan peeing on police nor them stealing from the dead, what complete bulls**t these people told. Im so pleased the truth has been told and finally some people will be took to task over thier lies. Hopefull they never sleep again and all they see is the pain they have caused the lfc fans and more importantlly the 96 people who they let die, the pain their families must feel. THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS COME OUT!!!!
Am I the only person ashamed that there is nothing on the official website to convey the clubs condolances or comment on the report. The days of poor PR are still with us !! At tomorrows game there should be some gesture from the club to show that they are thinking of this issue. So far yourselves, lost that loving feeling etc have done a far better job than the club on this.
After I contacted the club – They’ve now put something on the official website – which I guess sorts things out
Nice one
