Forest’s injured quartet of George Boateng, Paul Anderson, Dexter Blackstock and Garath McCleary may have returned to friendly action, but are still some way away from the first-team picture, according to Steve Cotterill. In the meantime, it is make-do and mend with the existing squad, so Marcus Tudgay may well lead the line, with Chris Gunter and Luke Chambers continuing out of position at right-midfield and right-back respectively.
Ipswich may be missing veterans Lee Bowyer and Nathan Ellington, but like Daryl Murphy, they will be hoping to play some kind of a role.
The visitors have had an up and down season, and have lost their last three games; the stats seem to suggest that their form depends on the presence of midfield maestro Jimmy Bullard. Like Forest, they have conceded a lot of goals more times than they would like to remember, most notably the 7-1 mauling at Peterborough. With both teams prone to dodgy defending, it may not be a cricket score, but you may want to bet on it being an American Football score (with more on American football betting here).
