Nottingham Forest 3 – 1 Southampton

Published on May 4th, 2009

A flattering result for a lacklustre performance.

Smith in goal, Gunther, Chambers, Breckin (c), Lynch across the back, McCleary, McGugan, Moose, Cohen (PotY) in a non-existent midfield and Earnshaw and Blackstock up-front.

Plus the podcast includes some thoughts on the season just past, plus a quick look forwards to the summer and beyond.

After a season of playing brilliantly but losing, I’ll take a flattering result for a change.

    Hi Rahoul,

Thats a good idea. I will consider it as you can’t find many images of Forest fans on the net etc. I am currently using my phone but will use a proper camera next season if I have one.

    Thanks
    Jim

For those that don’t know – Jim is considering shutting down the Trent End Blog, which would be a shame. However, for the Southampton match he did a series of photos, which I thought was a great idea.

I was at the match – it was brilliant. Forest have left it a little ‘late’ this season – but pure class has got them through.

Onwards and upwards for next season – can’t come soon enough.

What the hell is there to do until then?
