From someone who claims to know people at the club:
“Not much more on what has already been stated except that a decision has been made and accepted by the candidate. No names, I expect it though to be Keane.
However I have been told there will be a suprise when the announcement is made in the summer or at the end of the season. I guess the reason that no announcement has been made yet as Keane is still contracted with Celtic. The suprise could be player/manager, could be something to do with the current incumbent I don’t know.”

The internet posters claiming to be “in the know” are saying that Roy Keane is pretty much a done deal after Nigel turned us down.
I’m not sure what I think about this to be honest – my Man U supporting friend thinks it could be the greatest appointment since BC, but I reckon the choice of assistant will be crucial. And I’d quite like Ken and Dierdre to stay on.

I love Marlon Harewood. He is the one that got away. I still feel joy when I see him score. And it is great to see that he is like a little kid, he gets so excited when he scores a goal.
I wish we hadn’t let him go so cheaply.

Alan Rogers is forgetting that while he was fantastic when Fat Joe first got him in on loan, as soon as he signed a contract he started guzzling pies.
You were great in your first spell at the club Alan, but you’re not wanted now and it’s not Megson’s fault.
